DONALD C. GEYER age 85, beloved husband for 63 years of Marian (nee Buettner); loving father of Donna Huth (husband Troy), Nancy (DeLambo) Collin (husband David), Amy, and Alicia Guess (husband Kenneth); devoted grandfather of Laura Hilditch (husband Lee), Barbara, Troy J. (wife Emily) and Candy Huth, Scott Wright, Andrew DeLambo, Krystal and Nicholas Guess, Cody and Jessica Skora and great-grandfather of Luke, Logan and Landon Hilditch, Aiden  and Quinn Huth; cherished son of the late Carl and Elsie (nee Dickard) Geyer; dearest brother of the late Carol Ann Thomas Westfall; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Donald was born on March 28, 1932 and passed away March 31, 2017. He was a 21 year resident of Hiram and parishioner of Holy Angels Church. Donald was a member of the Streetsboro Knights of Columbus. He graduated in 1950 from Cathedral Latin High School and earned his accounting degree from John Carrol University and Fenn College. Donald was an accountant for Republic Steel. His hobbies included stamp collecting, bird watching and he was an avid reader. Donald enjoyed listening to Polka music and marching bands. He liked to travel and visited 13 countries in Europe. Donald enjoyed camping and has camped at all the National parks. He loved his trains, his cats, German food, good beer, a nice glass of wine and the Browns. Donald was nonjudgmental, kind, patient, very intelligent and very faithful. He will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Don at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
