Donald Comer

DONALD E. COMER age 80.Beloved husband for 59 years of Okeyleen (nee Blackburn); loving father of Michael J. Comer and Donna Ambrose (husband Michael); devoted grandfather of Mathew (wife Elizabeth), Kyle and Michael “Mikey” Ambrose. Cherished son of the late Edward and Edna (nee McCalligan); dear brother of Shirley Noel and the late Charles Comer, Betty Zeur, William Benton, Raymond and Delvin Comer, Dorothy Link and Dolores Bokor; dear uncle and great uncle of many. U.S. Navy Veteran.

Donald was born December 27, 1934 in Wickliffe.  He was a retired machinist from Addressograph, worked as an insurance salesman and manager for Monumental Life and also worked at Wall Street Recycling.  Donald enjoyed the casino and going on vacations, but got his most enjoyment from his kids and grandkids.

Prayers of Christian Burial Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors following Whitehaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Donald at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
