DONALD JAMES “Don” BLODGETT JR., 60, of Madison, formerly of Chardon entered into eternal life September 3, 2016.

Born January 20, 1956 in Cleveland, OH. Don was a mechanic for Eisler and Cooke gas stations in Chardon before becoming disabled 10 years ago after suffering a stroke. His family described him as a very free spirited and loving man.

Don is survived by his siblings, Scott Blodgett (wife Gail), Susan Albright (husband Bob), D’Ann Camp, Catherine Dickson (finance Edward), Evelyn Neal, and Antoinette Vandenberg (husband Casey); uncle of Patrick and Jonathan Blodgett (wife Brittney), Miranda, Michele and Stephanie Camp, Kenneth Dickson, Jacquie Pierce, Micheal Neal, Taylor and Jennifer Vandenberg; and great uncle of A’Mar Thomas, Arryn Rose Thomas and Dmitri Blodgett.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Donald J. Blodgett, Sr. and Betty Lou Butts (nee Kaminski).

To celebrate Donnie’s life the family invites family and friends to have one last drink in his memory at Chardon Tavern and Grill Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 7 pm.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. ARRANGEMENTS BY THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St.  (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square).
