DOMINIC “DAN” LANOVARA, age 82; beloved husband for 60 years of the late Josephine (nee Piazza); loving father of Mary, Frances Ferritto (husband Don), Joseph (wife Nicole) and Venus Juratovac (husband Daniel); devoted grandfather of Joey, Donny (wife Theresa) and Danielle Ferritto, Danny and Michael Juratovac, Dominic, Francis, Brandi, Joseph and great-grandfather of Peyton and Chase; cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Augello); dearest brother of Mary Stump, Vince and the late Lilly Lidd, Margaret Treska, Josephine Val, Lena Osborne, Virginia Treska and Gina Reginelli; fond son-in-law of the late Nathan and Frances Piazza; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many. US Army Veteran.

Dan was born April 1, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away July 31, 2015.  He was a resident of Warrensville and most recently, Northfield Center. He owned his own home improvement company. Dan was very handy, not only with carpentry, but also spent time remodeling cars. He loved boxing and he loved his dogs. Dan will be remembered as a tough guy, who had a great sense of humor, was loyal and extremely loving.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dan at FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (ROUTE 82) SAGAMORE HILLS TUESDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
