Dominic Celico

DOMINIC B. CELICO., age 80, passed peacefully at his home on Monday, May 25, 2015 after a brief bout with cancer; beloved husband for 48 years of Lucille (nee Medves); loving father of Dominic J. and Andrea; cherished son of the late Jerome and Grace (nee Guida); dearest brother of Dolores Ennis, Concetta Ferrette, Sylvia Peterson and the late Jerome Celico and Theresa Kowalcyk; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many. Also survived by his feline friend Sam.

Dominic was a resident of Mayfield Heights since 1978, previously of South Euclid. He was a parishioner of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. Dominic attended Cathedral Latin High School. He was employed as a Mayfield Heights housing inspector. Dominic was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavs and enjoyed playing cards and gambling. His favorite music was Big Band. Dominic’s family remembers him as friendly, sensitive, caring, thoughtful and giving.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.). Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dominic at the FUNERAL HOME THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
