DOMENICA “DONNIE” RUSSO (nee Cancasci), age 93. Beloved wife of the late State Representative Anthony J. Loving mother of The Honorable Basil M. (wife Patricia E., nee Gallipuli), Frank (Michael Calabrese), The Honorable Anthony J. (wife Patricia M., nee LeCastre) and Ronald (wife Gai, nee Householder). Adoring “Mema” of Anthony (wife Ann), Joseph (wife Alicia), Gabriella Rosalina (husband Joseph), Angela Otstot (husband Kenneth), Nadette, Frank (deceased), Richelle Marous (husband Chip), Vincent (wife Shannon), Tara (fiance Jeff Hanchar), Anthony, Domenica and Alessia and great-grandmother of Sophia, Joseph, Basil, Isabella, Ava, Dante, Lia, Grace, Agostino, Julian, Fisher, Arsom, Frankie, Frankie Nia, Dominic, Isabella, twins Vinni and Sammi and Enzo.. Cherished daughter of the late Frank and Benedetta (nee DiBianca) Cancasci. Dearest sister of Joseph Cancasci and the late Maurice, Alfred and George Cancasci. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Donnie was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the San Leone Society. She was named Italian-American Mother of the Year in 2007.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM.

Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Donnie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.”
