Dolly Riffle

DOLLY RIFFLE (nee Thomas), aged 84 years, passed away July 4, 2017. For 62 years, Dolly was the loving and devoted wife of Clyde D. Riffle; treasured mother to 7 children: David (deceased) (Linda Tichy), Gary, Laurel (Bryan Goldberg), Kevin (Andra Olson), Tim (Lina Palubinskas), Clyde Jr. (deceased) and Christopher; caring grandmother of 15: Kyle, Eric, Nicole, Julian (deceased), Antoinette, Olivia, Lida Beth (deceased), Ryan, Katrina, Lily, Stellan, Brad, Rob, Todd and Peyton; cherished sister of the late Daniel (Delores) and Lee (Janice) Thomas; friend to many, including parishioners and prayer partners from her long affiliation with St. Ann’s Church and the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland. As Dolly fought her long battle with COPD with both heart and grace, her strong faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love and caring of her spouse, family and friends helped her enter the dominion of her Lord peacefully and without pain. Dolly will always be remembered for her bright, active and inquisitive mind, her outgoing and positive personality, her sense of humor, her ability to quickly make new friends, and her passion for prayer and its healing, transformative power. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass in thanksgiving for the life of Dolly on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church of Communion of Saints Parish (corner of Cedar and Coventry) at 10 AM. Luncheon reception following. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
