Diane C. Porter

DIANE C. PORTER (nee Cizkovsky) age 75, beloved wife of Dale for 56 years; loving mother of Victoria (Glenn Barth) Porter and Joseph (Stacy) Porter; devoted grandmother of Sydney (Taron), Jack, Robin, Corrina, and Christopher; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Daisy (nee Daniels) Cizkovsky; dearest sister of Geraldine and the late Robert. Diane was born on May 18, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio and 20 years later she received the greatest gift when she and Dale were married. The two became a family of four when they were blessed with a daughter and son. Over the years, their family also included many beloved dogs as rescue animals held a special place in Diane’s heart. She was an avid crafter who loved to give friends and family her crocheting, needle point, and Diamond Art creations. Diane enjoyed the calm that came with visiting her favorite parks near Lake Erie, the joy in family meals, and sharing her irreverent humor at bingo for she knew not to take life too seriously. With family by her side, on April 23, 2024, this free-spirited, fun and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her good heart and acceptance of everyone.
