Diane Piercy

DIANE C. PIERCY (nee Luciani), age 75. Loving mother of Cheryl (Hohman) Cigoy, Robert (wife Pamela) and twins Cynthia Tummino (husband Grant) and Sandra Bills (husband John). Devoted grandmother of Joe Hohman (wife Amy), Lisa Hohman, Gweneviere and Laken Piercy, Megan (Bills) Young (husband Brent), Easton and Brandon Lemons and great-grandmother of Karah Grace and Alex David Hohman. Beloved daughter of the late John and Anna (nee DiCicco) Luciani. Dearest sister of Linda Musacchio (husband James) and the late Donato Luciani. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Diane was a member of Mount Carmel Players and participated in many plays, Guardian Ad Litem, Sunshine Children’s Fund and the Red Hat Society. She loved musicals, boating, traveling, ballroom dancing, walks on the beach and sunsets. Her family remembers her as a strong, giving, compassionate, gracious, hard-working person who loved people, was a wonderful hostess, knew how to make people feel special and knew how to make them happy. But, most of all, she loved her family.

She was a very successful realtor for Hilltop Realty in Wickliffe and at WCI Realty and Prudential Realty in Naples, where Diane was currently employed.

A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 9:00 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church (Wickliffe) at 10:00 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Diane at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
