Diane Patton – Pick

DIANE PATTON-PICK (nee Keefer), aged 67 years, beloved mother of Kenneth M. Lavin (wife Stacie), loving grandmother of Niko, cherished daughter of Shirley Miller (nee Patton) (husband Harold Miller – deceased) and the late John Pershing Keefer, devoted sister of Wendy Zella (husband Ed) and the late Ken Miller.

Diane grew up in Chagrin Falls and attended Orange Schools. She attended Kent State University where she met her future husband Bill. Diane worked at University Hospitals as a nursing unit secretary and also worked at the Board of Elections. She lived in Maine for many years, where she loved to go antiquing and visit the huge house that sold Christmas items year round, a place she took her son Ken and wife Stacie. Family gatherings were always joyous occasions full of laughter and the sharing of old family stories. Her family remembers her as a kind and generous person to both family and friends.

Prayers of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Rev. Fr. Ted Marszal, Officiating. Private burial in Evergreen Hill Cemetery (Chagrin Falls). The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Diane at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on THURSDAY from 12 NOON UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
