Dennis O’Neill

DENNIS R. O’NEILL age 64, beloved husband for 27 years of Bonnie (nee Halbrook); loving father of Christina O’Neill (husband Christopher Tuma), Matthew, and Maria Casto (husband Adam); devoted grandfather of Kayla, Troy, Mackenzie, Lora, Danielle, Liam, and the late Alexandra; cherished son of the late Robert and Louise (nee Kitko); dearest brother of Richard (wife Lisa) and David (wife Rosemary); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Dennis was born on October 5, 1953 in Cleveland and passed away on July 3, 2018. He was a resident of Leroy Township for over 20 years, formerly of Brookpark, and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Dennis was a member of F.O.E. of Chardon and Ravenna and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He graduated from Midpark High School in 1970 and attended Cuyahoga Community College. Dennis worked for Duke Manufacturing as the Director of Quality Engineering. He loved gardening, canning and pickling, and feeding birds. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered most as a kind-hearted, generous, selfless and honest man with high integrity. Dennis was reserved and witty. He will be dearly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church 16550 Rock Creek Rd., Thompson, OH 44086. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dennis at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
