Denise Bliley

Denise M. “Nina” (nee Rockafellow) Bliley, age 63, of Chardon, formerly of Jefferson, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Geneva Village.

She was born on August 4, 1951 in Painesville to the late Donald “Rocky” and Alyce (nee Werbeach) Rockafellow. Nina attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sightseeing, visiting casinos and especially with her grandsons, whom she liked to sew with.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Brian) Whitright and Deidre (Leroy) Cook; grandsons, Austin and Aidan; brothers, Timothy (Christine) Rockafellow and Mark (Debi) Rockafellow; sister, Loretta (Arbin) Vaughn; and sister-in-law, Sandy Rockafellow.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Christopher Rockafellow.

Memorial donations may be made in Nina’s name to St. Mary Church, 401 North Street, Chardon, OH 44024.

A graveside celebration of life service will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2014 AT 9AM AT RIVERSIDE CEMETERY, PAINESVILLE. Arrangements entrusted to THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square).
