Denise Marie Belfiore

DENISE MARIE BELFIORE (nee Spishock) age 70, beloved wife for 44 years of James “Jim”; loving mother of Julie and the late James “Jimmy”; cherished daughter of Margaret (nee Petrigash) Darco and the late Thomas Spishock; dearest sister of Thomas (wife Natalie) and Maryann Myers (husband Alan); dear aunt and great-aunt of many. 

Denise was born on January 7, 1954 in Euclid and resided in the Cleveland area all her life. After graduation in 1972 from East Lake North High School, she chose to continue her education and graduated in 1976 from the Willoughby Eastlake Practical School of Nursing as an LPN. With a true appreciation for music, Denise could frequently be found attending concerts, especially performances by the Eagles, James Taylor, John Mayer, Ben Folds or Mike Ness. Being a free spirit with an adventurous streak, she was drawn to the magnificent Grand Canyon to hike on more than one occasion. While at home, she enjoyed QVC shopping and, most of all, playing with and cuddling her beloved cats. Denise passed away on August 5, 2024 and will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Thursday, August 15, 2024, the family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Denise at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).  Visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a celebration of life ceremony immediately following from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
