Denise Agresta

DENISE AGRESTA (nee Chiancone) age 65, beloved wife of the late Thomas D., Sr.; loving mother of Thomas D., Jr. (wife Jennifer, nee DeFiore), Ronald, and Nicholas (wife Amanda, nee Benson); devoted grandmother of Victor, Carmen, Joey, Gianna, Harley, Gabriella, Mia and Brandon; cherished daughter of the late Anthony J. and Margaret “Minnie” (nee Scaccia) Chiancone; dearest sister of Anthony Chiancone (wife Loretta, deceased) and the late Richard Chiancone (wife Frances); dear niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Denise was born on June 29, 1952 in Cleveland and passed away on October 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Aurora, formerly of Mayfield Village and grew up in South Euclid. Denise was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church for 5 years, previously a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She graduated from Regina High School in 1970 and enjoyed being a homemaker. Denise visited many casinos and enjoyed cards, blackjack, slots and roulette. She loved spending time with her family and adored being a grandma. Denise will be remembered most as a strong-willed, outgoing, and very intelligent woman. She was selfless, a hard worker and always put family first. Denise will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church at 10 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Denise at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY 1-4 & 5-8 PM.
