Dean Delaney

DEAN M. DELANEY age 82 of Willowick, OH passed away March 11, 2015 at the Louis Stokes Wade Park Medical Center in Cleveland. Mr. Delaney was born in Bradford, PA and was a high school teacher in Mifflinburg, PA where he taught history and was a Track coach there for 33 years. He was also a veteran of the US Navy serving in the Korean War and a lifetime member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his children Kevin (wife Cynthia ) of CT, Kathleen (husband Richard) Gillespie of NV and Valerie (husband Robert) Vargo of Euclid, OH; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and sister Rita Pitts. He was preceded in death by his parents Nellie (Campbell) and Aleck Delaney and sister Dawn Kriz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday March 16, 2015 at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH 44094 followed by burial with military honors in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.

Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-7 p.m. at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH.
