David S. Nadeau

DAVID S. NADEAU age 79, beloved husband for 50 years of Lorrayne “Lorry” (nee Vaccariello); loving father of Jennifer Hardman (husband Dan), Katherine “Kate” Snyder (husband Bill III), and Charles “Chuck” (wife Laura); devoted grandfather of Sam, Jake, Bella, Gigi, Clare, Charlie, Rachel, Bill, and Nick; dearest brother of Suzanne Seifert (husband Ken), William (wife Judy), and the late Gregory (wife Sheila), and Kathleen; treasured brother-in-law of Arlene and Dennis Grapo and Sandra and the late Norm Valentino; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

David was born January 26, 1939 and passed away July 16, 2018. He was a 33-year resident of Mayfield Village, previously Lyndhurst. He was a member and volunteer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and previously belonged to Church of St. Clare. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. David graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1957. He worked in advertising and sales management for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Crain’s’ Cleveland Business. David enjoyed walking, running, and biking, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. David will be remembered as honest and thoughtful. He was caring and generous with advice, and had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are requested to meet for Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 12021 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland, at 10 AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of David at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
