David J. Morgan

DAVID J. MORGAN age 57, father of Zachary, Sarah, Jack, and Mary; grandfather of Mila; beloved fiance of Wangui “Maggie” Wanjiru; survived by the mother of his children Kimberly Lytle; cherished son of the late Frank and Dawn (nee Hammond); dearest brother of Arlene Mohammadpour (husband Ali), Nancy Clapacs (husband John), Colleen Perrino (husband Pat); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

David was born in Cleveland on September 21, 1964, and passed away on January 27, 2022. He grew up in Euclid and graduated from Euclid High School in 1983. David was very artistic as a child, and he loved to sketch. He also loved music and played the drums. He taught all four of his children the love of music and how to play instruments. They would all play songs for their grandparents and family. David also had a soft spot for animals, especially cats.

Later David became a certified welder and worked in many construction roles over the years until eventually becoming a minister. In that capacity his skills with construction helped with projects at Teen Challenge in Perry, Ohio and their location in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

David was very devout in his faith and ministry, and spent the last several years trying to help others with their challenges. It was his most recent intention to train to be a missionary in Africa and proclaim the Word of Christ. David was kind-hearted and gentle, with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of David to Teen Challenge of Greater Cleveland.
