David E. Sasak

DAVID E. SASAK age 61, Mayfield Hts City Council Member. Beloved husband of the late Gayle C. (nee Grau). Loving father of Richard W. (fiance Krista Krainz) and Russell D. Cherished son of Kathryn (nee Applequist) and the late William. Dearest brother of Kathy Sasak-Lindholm, James J and Kenneth. Dear uncle of Kristen Lindholm.

Dave was a Mayfield Hts Councilman for the past 6 years. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1968 and from Cleveland State with a engineering degree. Dave loved sailing and working on cars. He was a dedicated council member; avid sailor; generous and giving of his time to his community and had a tireless family devotion.

A Tribute Service in Dave’s memory to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 4 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dave SATURDAY JULY 2, 2011 from 12-4 PM.
