David Anderson

DAVID D. ANDERSON, age 87, beloved husband and best friend for 57 years of Joan (nee Kenney); loving father of Lynn Anderson, Jeannine Anderson-Spain (husband Michael Rosciszewski) and the late Lori and Rick Anderson; devoted grandfather of Lindsay and Jenna Spain and great-grandfather of Mia Brown; cherished son of the late Thomas and Rose (nee Davis). Survived by his canine companion Giselle.

Dave was born on February 2, 1932, in Alberta, Canada and passed away on August 17, 2019. He was a resident of Highland Heights for the past 27 years, previously Richmond Heights. Dave moved from Canada to England and came to the United States in 1957. He attended Luton Technical College in England and Fenn College in Cleveland. Dave was involved in the Euclid Little Theatre, the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, Willoughby Fine Arts and Richmond Heights Little Theatre. He was a mechanical design engineer for General Electric and Addressograph Multigraph where he was awarded 6 patents. His interests were music, audio systems and theatre. He loved listening to all types of music, especially classical music. Dave will be remembered by his family as a loving man who was a true gentleman and romanticist. He had a fantastic sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. If you ever needed to know anything, all you had to do was ask Dave. He will be dearly missed by all.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service, Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 6 PM at the Funeral Home.  Private burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dave at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6  PM.
