DANIEL F. SAZIMA, D.D.S., age 92, beloved husband for 37 years of Carol (nee Iorio); loving father of Scott Sazima, D.D.S., Dr. Gregory Sazima (wife Tracy Brown-Sazima, M.D.), Sheryl Sazima, Michael DeFrancesco, and Don DeFrancesco (wife Tina); devoted grandfather of eight; cherished son of the late Frances (nee Masin) and Henry Sazima, D.D.S.; dearest brother of the late Henry Sazima, D.D.S., Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy; treasured brother-in-law of Noreen Divito (husband Lawrence, deceased) and the late Michael Iorio; dear uncle of Holly Davoni (husband Darush) and Christine Divito.
Dan was born on October 25, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio and died peacefully on March 22, 2025. He was a graduate of Cathedral Latin, Class of 1950 and went on to attend John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University from 1951-1952. Dan further his education graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1956 and University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1957. Dan lived and had his dental practice in South Euclid for many years, retiring in 1995. He and his wife Carol then moved to Auburn for 29 years and the last 9 years in Bainbridge. Dan was a proud member of the Hillcrest Rotary Club for over 60 years and his commitment went beyond his Club as he served as Rotary District Governor for District 6630. In his retirement years, Dan found great pleasure working in his yard, playing golf, and especially traveling with his wife Carol all over the world and to Rotary events. He was a lover of history and enjoyed reading many books. Dan will be remembered as a wonderful man, caring, giving, loving, and caring for people. He will be missed by his family and the many friends he continued making over the years.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 496 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls. Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dan at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND, 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SUNDAY 3-6 PM AND MONDAY AT CHURCH 10 AM UNTIL TIME OF MASS.
