Daniel J. Kunes

DANIEL J. KUNES, age 76. Beloved husband for 53 years of Nancy R. (nee McGrath). Loving father of Jeffery D. (wife Wendy) of Columbus, OH and David S. Devoted grandfather of Charlotte. Cherished son of the late Joseph and LaFerne (nee Gledhill). Dear brother of Thomas (wife Barbara). Dear uncle of many.

Daniel was an usher at St. Clare Church, where he belonged to the Men of Praise. He was also a member of Acacia Country Club and a U.S. Army Veteran. Daniel enjoyed playing golf and watching boxing. In 1965, Daniel began working for S & S Inc., a packaging supply business, and purchased the business in 1972.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Daniel’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland, OH 44110. Relatives and friend are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30am. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Daniel at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-5 and 6-9 PM.
