DANIEL R. GAWRY, "The Magic Man", age 79, beloved husband of Susan (nee Dulzer); loving father of Alicia Schaefer (husband Christopher) and the late John Liptak; devoted grandfather of Kylie and Lilliana; cherished son of the late Daniel and Eleanor Marie (nee Gorman); dearest brother of Ken, Kathy Shaw (husband Michael), Robert, Paul (wife Deborah), and Timothy (wife Tracy); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Daniel was born on June 8, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduation from Maple Heights High School in 1963, Dan began his own company, providing commercial and residential painting services to his community.

Dan enjoyed fishing, golfing, singing, listening to music, playing pool and guitar, and watching the Cleveland Indians. However, Dan's true love was doing magic, as he relished the joy and happiness it brought to others. On January 31, 2025, this gentle, kind, and friendly soul passed away leaving his family and friends missing his amazing sense of humor and the magic he brought to their lives.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dan to Cleveland Clinic Hospice.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
