CYNTHIA LEE SELVAGGIO (nee Barry) age 70; loving mother of Katie Alabsi, Brent, and Brandon (Karina Baker); devoted grandmother of Jameson, Joshua, and Kalid Alabsi, Chelsea Baker, Alexandra, Brandon, and Brianne Selvaggio; dearest mother-in-law of Waleed Alabsi; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Adeline Barry; dearest sister of Denver Barry; beloved aunt of Kimmy, Tracy, Frank, Sarah, Bonnie, and Jordan Barry, and great-aunt of many; Cindy joins her beloved dogs Red and Molly at the Rainbow Bridge.

Cindy was born on April 23, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Brush High School in 1971. Raising her children was most of her adult life, yet she also spent a few years in real estate. She loved reading, taking care of her dogs and cats, playing the piano, and learning Reiki. Her greatest enjoyment in life was caring for her children and grandchildren and her fur-babies. She especially enjoyed making sure her grandchildren all made lessons and helping with homework. Cindy enjoyed being together with family for the holidays and was talented at guiding her children with instructions. Her family remembers her as highly intelligent, eccentric, outspoken and stubborn at times, always creative and artistic, willing to help, and the truest ‘female boss.’ Cindy will be missed by those that genuinely cared for her.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11 AM at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
