Corinne Riek

CORINNE RIEK age 55, beloved daughter of the late F.B., Jr. and Andree (nee Maes) Riek and step-daughter of Jacquelyn (Lauer) (nee Dempsey) Riek; dearest sister of Ben (wife Leslye), Thierry (wife Wendy) and step-sister of Lyn Kinney, Cindi DelBrocco, Art “Flip” Lauer, Deirdre Lauer and Ted Lauer; dear aunt of Kaytee, Andree and Sara.

Corinne was born on June 2, 1961 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on April 20, 2017. She was a resident of Chesterland for 37 years. Corinne worked at Manor Lodge at Punderson State Park, Metzenbaum Sheltered Industries and Dillon Products. She loved her family, working, and traveling to Dallas to see family. Corinne will be remembered most as a joyful, smiling and happy woman who was a great hostess. She was outgoing but had a stubborn streak at times. Corinne will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Corinne to Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities 8200 Cedar Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026. Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church 435 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Village, 44143. Interment following at Knollwood Cemetery.  Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Corinne at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY 5-8 PM.
