Connie Rich

CONNIE RICH (nee Clovis) age 76, beloved wife for 62 years of Arthur; loving mother of Michael (wife Deborah), Lisa Moses (husband Kenneth) and the late Alan; devoted grandmother of Brian (wife Nicole), Mark (wife Larissa), Thomas Allen (Elizabeth Douglass), Tyler Moses (fiancé Kaileigh Rowell), and Kaitlyn Moses and great-grandmother of Austin, Cali, Elise, Miranda, and Marissa; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (nee Holmes) Clovis; dearest sister of Richard Clovis (wife Constance); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Connie was born on April 24, 1941 in Wheeling, West Virginia and passed away on January 22, 2018. She was a resident of Newbury since 1964, formerly residing in Cleveland. Connie was a member of Young of Hearts of Chesterland, snow mobile club, and Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. She volunteered and worked at Windsor Hospital in Chagrin Falls. Connie was an activity therapist at Windsor Hospital. She loved sewing, quilting, knitting, painting and ceramics. Connie was an Indians and Cavs fan. She enjoyed bird watching, casino trips and playing bingo at St. Helen Church. Connie will be remembered most as an outgoing, very organized, energetic, selfless, and giving woman who was always on the go. She was social, funny, witty and the matriarch of her family. Connie will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 12 NOON at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Munn Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Connie at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  THURSDAY MORNING 10 AM-12 NOON.
