Claudia Wenstrup

CLAUDIA A. WENSTRUP (nee Stoupal) age 64, beloved wife for 33 years of Robert; loving mother of James Robert; cherished daughter of the late Ramon (Stone) and Pauline (nee Armul) Stoupal; dearest sister of the late Ramon Stoupal, Jr.; treasured niece of Robert Armul; dearest sister-in-law of Kathleen and Robert Fife, John and Paula Wenstrup, Michael Wenstrup, Janeen Kooi; dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Claudia was born on July 19, 1952 in Cleveland and passed away on February 18, 2017. She was a resident of Solon for 37 years, formerly of Lyndhurst. Claudia graduated from Brush High School in 1970 where she played glockenspiel in the high school band and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Kent State University. She worked as a music teacher for 8 years in Bedford and 27 years for Brecksville Schools. Claudia also taught piano and performed at Cain Park. She loved music, entertaining, and writing musicals for schools. Claudia enjoyed home decorating, walking and biking. She also loved to travel, especially going on cruises. Claudia will be remembered most as a vivacious, loving, honest, intelligent and hardworking woman. She was very social, a great hostess and lit up a room with her wonderful personality. Claudia will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12 Noon at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Whitehaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Claudia at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
