Clara Fatica

CLARA T. FATICA (nee Peluso) age 101, beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Linda Gaus (husband John); devoted grandmother of Darren and Joshua and great-grandmother of Corey; cherished daughter of the late Michael and Ferdinandina (nee Rebano) Peluso; dearest sister of Joseph and Michael Peluso and the late Carmella Sylvester (husband Joseph, deceased); dear aunt of Joseph Sylvester, Diane Katsaitis (husband Eugene, deceased) and other nieces and nephews.
Clara was born on September 25, 1914 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on June 14, 2016 in Chardon, where she had lived for the past 3 ½ years, previously residing in Highland Heights. Clara was a very religious person and belonged to St. Clare Catholic Church. She loved being a grandmother and liked to cook and bake for her family. Clara will be remembered as incredibly kind, selfless and someone who always put her family before herself. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Clara’s memory to Crossroads Hospice, 8224 Mentor Avenue, Suite 110, Mentor, OH 44060 or to Heather Hill Special Care Center, 12340 Bass Lake Road, Chardon, OH 44024. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church with burial following at Lake View Cemetery.
