Claire Wilson

CLAIRE J. WILSON (nee Minadeo), age 76; beloved wife for 42 years of Thomas H.; loving mother of Rachel M. Chase (husband Stephen) and the late David O.; devoted grandmother of Maria and Lydia; cherished daughter of the late Dr John and Marie (nee Iammarino) Minadeo; dearest sister of the late Carmen Minadeo (wife Cynthia, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Prior to living in Highland Heights for the past 29 years, Claire was a resident of Cleveland Heights. For the past four years, Claire has been a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, and prior to that she was a member of St. Louis Church for many years. When her kids were young, she volunteered many hours at St. Louis school as a room mom, in the school library, and on the playground. In later years, she was active in PTO at St. Paschal Baylon and Mayfield High School. She also helped out with Caring Connections for several years at St. Louis Catholic Church.

Claire graduated from Ursuline Academy and went on to receive her B.S. in Mathematics at Notre Dame College with a minor in Physics. She worked as a computer programmer for 14 years at General Electric and NCCS, and after having her first child she began what she always said was her favorite and most rewarding career, as a stay at home mom. She always said her children were the most important thing in her life, and her life showed this to be true. Claire enjoyed bowling and traveling, and loved to cook. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and playing classical and other music on her piano. Claire will be remembered as a wonderful mom, and a dedicated, giving and selfless woman who was always there for everyone.
