Christopher Minick

CHRISTOPHER ALAN MINICK age 50, cherished son of Carol (nee Hostetler) Byler (husband Lee) and the late Robert L. Minick (wife Virginia); dearest brother of Lisa Holcombe (husband David); treasured uncle of Selah; loving boyfriend of Heather Myers; fond nephew of Walter Minick, Richard Minick, Edna “Eddie” and James “Butch” Farmwald, Fannie “Fran” and Dave Owens, Roman “Pete” and Mary Hostetler, Linda and Roman Hyrnewycz, and the late Martha “Marty” Ramseyer (husband Tony); dear cousin and friend of many.

Chris was born on February 1, 1971 in Chardon and passed away on December 7, 2021. He was a life-long resident of Burton and graduated from Berkshire High School in 1989. Chris worked in roofing and landscaping. He loved fishing for bass and walleye. Chris enjoyed kayaking and loved the beach and outdoors. He was an Indians fan and loved Tom Hamilton. Chris will be remembered most as a sweet, social, and laid-back man that everyone loved. He appreciated the nicer things in life and had a good sense of humor. Chris was very devoted to his mother and sister. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Chris to a local church or charity of your choice. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
