Cheryl R. Fousek

CHERYL R. FOUSEK (nee Richey) age 54, beloved wife for 25 years of Jeffery; loving mother of Adam and Emily; cherished daughter of Boyd and Anita (nee Middleton) Richey; dearest sister of Gregory (wife Holli Kendall); treasured sister-in-law of George and Sandy Fousek; dear aunt of Brandi & Tony Persello, Jasmine Holsinger and Shelby Tallon. 

Cheryl was born February 8, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio and graduated in 1988 from Trotwood High School.  Continuing her education, she earned a degree in mechanical engineering in 1993 from Purdue University.  Using her education, Cheryl excelled as a quality engineer for Reuter Stokes.  Being adventurous and social, she greatly enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.  Hobbies also brought her enjoyment, which included bicycling, gardening, hiking, knitting and playing trivia games. Her caring and selfless personality drew her to become an active Booster Club member for the band and girls soccer at West Geauga High School.  The dual role of devoted wife and mother was of utmost importance and pride.  Cheryl passed away on May 7, 2024 and will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, May 17, 2024 at 6:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Cheryl at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  FRIDAY 3-7PM.
