Charles Strell

Charles was born on December 17, 1930 in Johnstown Pennsylvania. He was a resident of Euclid area for 54 years formally of Cleveland and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish formerly Holy Cross Catholic Church and St Christine Catholic Church of Euclid. Charles attended high school in Johnstown, PA. He is a member of the SNPJ Lodge 158.

He loved the casino’s, most especially the slot machines. Charles played cards and pinochle was his game. He played golf and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns. Charles was a hard working an and very handy. He was reserved, unpretentious and easy going but loved a good joke. Charles cherished spending time with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, of 65 years, Stephanie (nee Niton); loving father of Dennis Strell, Deborah Bielinski, and David Strell; cherished son of the late Jacob and Frances (nee Jereb).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Charles to University Hospitals Hospice 11100 Euclid Ave. MCCO-5062, Cleveland, OH 44106.

Relative and friends are requested to meet for Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 15, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church 19951 Lakeshore Blvd, Euclid, OH 44119 at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
