Charles Patrick Colgan

CHARLES PATRICK COLGAN age 90, beloved husband for 55 years of Zita (nee Burrell); loving father of Sharon and the late Mark; cherished son of Edward and Ethel (nee Day); dearest brother of the late Ned; dear uncle and friend of many. U.S. Army WWII Veteran.

Charles was born November 13, 1927 in Cleveland and passed away January 3, 2018 in South Euclid where he lived with his wife for 55 years. He was drafted to the Army during World War II and proudly served until 1948. After his discharge, he completed a Bachelor’s degree at the College of Wooster and began working as an Insurance Coordinator for Randy Packett. In his free time, Charles enjoyed reading and spending time with his family at home. He helped deliver Meals on Wheels and was a member of the YMCA and Kiwani’s. Charles will be dearly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Burial will take place with military honors on July 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.)
