CHARLES J. “CHUCK” LENTINI age 87, U.S. Army Veteran, Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council #310 member. Chuck will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Theresa “Terry”  (nee Pezzino); loving father of Cynthia Onorato Micali (husband James); devoted grandfather of Matthew and Megan Onorato; cherished son of the late Guiseppe and Maria (nee Cassaro); dear friend of many.

Chuck was born on March 19, 1932 in Cleveland and passed away on November 8, 2019. He was a resident of Mayfield Heights since 1960, previously residing in Cleveland. Chuck graduated from John Adams High School and was the owner/operator of Hillcrest Masonry. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church where he was an usher. Chuck was a member of the Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council #310, FOPA Lodge and an active member of ISDA University Lodge #192. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, photography, dancing and watching old movies and TV shows. He loved the Cleveland Indians. Chuck will be lovingly remembered as a hard-working, honest, loyal, generous and humble man who lived for his family. He was a man of few words, soft-spoken, selfless, funny, and a true gentleman. Chuck will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church 3450 Norwood Rd., Shaker Heights, OH 44122. Burial following with Military Honors at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Chuck at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91)  FRIDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
