CHARLES E. “Charlie” FITZGERALD age 79, beloved husband for 28 years of Regina A. (O’Toole) (nee Skufca); loving father of Charles E. Jr. (wife Laura) and step-father of David O’Toole (wife Joy), Mary Daedelow (husband Donald), Joseph O’Toole and Michael O’Toole (wife Jayne); devoted grandfather of Chaz and step-grandfather of Amanda Daedelow; cherished son of the late William and Dorothy (nee Ebert); dearest brother of Rose Ann Barr (husband Richard, deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

Charlie was born on June 18, 1936 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania and passed away on March 17, 2016. He was a resident of Richmond Heights since 2005, formerly of Florida. Charlie was a member of Rotary in Jacksonville, North Carolina and Venice, Florida. He was also a member of the Eagles Club of Mayfield Heights and Boy Scouts of America. Charlie was a computer service manager with Central National Bank. He loved golf, fishing, and traveling. Charlie will be remembered by his family and friends as outgoing, very caring, and easy going. He loved people and was the life of the party. Charlie will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Monday March 21, 2016 at 7 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Charlie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 2-4 & 5-7 PM.
