CATHERINE A. SCHOMP (nee Dulzer) born July 21, 1959 in Cleveland to Blanche (nee Maesta) and the late James Dulzer passed away on October 11, 2015 at age 56. She was the beloved fiancé to Charlie Zimmerman; loving mother of Megan Leonard (husband Matthew) and Andrew, USN; dearest sister of Susan Gawry (husband Daniel), Joan DelMonti (husband Phillip), Mary Beth Dulzer and James Dulzer (wife Diane); treasured niece of Marie Dulzer and Eva Maesta; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Catherine was a resident for 27 years of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formerly of Jersey and Cleveland. She graduated from Beaumont High School and Akron University. Catherine worked for QVC as a Staffing Analyst. She loved exploring her family genealogy and spending time at her cabin in the Poconos. Catherine enjoyed listening to Aerosmith. She lived life to its fullest and spending time with her children. Catherine will be remembered most as an adventurous, independent woman who had an unstoppable zest for life. Family and friends will remember Catherine’s great sense of humor and how she loved to laugh.
