Katherine L. “Kitty” Helmetz (nee
Gerscht), age 77. Beloved wife of Donald for 60 years; loving mother of Kevin (deceased) (Pam); grandmother of Joseph and Katie; dear daughter of the deceased George and Louise Gerscht; dearest sister of Sally Gerscht (deceased) and Betty Fabec (Tony, deceased); beloved daughter in law of Marie Helmetz (deceased); dearest sister in law of Dolores and Donald Speroff and Cynthia Shambley; aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews and cousin to many; dog companion “Angel.” She was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Katherine at the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD. AND RT. 91) ON THURSDAY, MAY 8 FROM 4-8PM. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10 am, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
