CATHERINE M. GENTILE (nee Walsh), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Donald, dearest mother of Donald Jr. (wife Kathryn), Thomas J. (wife Catherine) and Rosemarie C., loving grandmother of Matthew (Elise), Tom (Katie), Christopher (Alicia), Bridgid Corbett (Patrick) and Megan Richards (Brock), cherished great-grandmother of Kyra, Brady, Nathan, Gabriella, Ellie, Jonathan, Thomas, Riley and Logan, devoted sister of the late John McDonough, Sr. Brigid, O.S.U., Agnes McDonough, Sr. Columba, O.S. U., Thomas, Vincent and Edward McDonough, Ann Young and Lawrence Walsh, fond aunt and grand-aunt.

She was born on Nov. 26, 1925 in Cleveland. She was a 62 year resident of Euclid, previously residing in East Cleveland. She and her late husband were founding members of the former St. William Catholic Church. Her family was everything to her, and she enjoyed any type of get together with them. A trip out to a local restaurant was especially looked forward to. She also enjoyed the social activities and companionships at the Euclid Senior Center.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 3, 2014 at SS. Robert & William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid, at 10 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Catherine at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
