CATHERINE ELEANOR “Kay” DelBROCCO (nee Miller) age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31st. She was the beloved wife for 40 years of the late Anthony “Tony Shell”; loving mother of Vincent “Jim” DelBrocco (wife Deborah) and Catherine “Cathy” Shea (husband Richard); devoted grandmother of Jacqueline and Matthew DelBrocco, and Catherine “Katie” and Nicholas Shea; cherished daughter of the late Steve and Helen (nee Misurek) Miller; dearest sister of James Miller (wife Jackie) and the late Jerry Miller (wife Cheryl); dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many. Kay was a graduate of Shaw High School (Class of ’55), Cleveland State University and John Carroll University where she earned her Masters degree. She taught in the Mayfield School system for 25 years and was honored as a member of the Mayfield High School Staff Hall of Fame. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kay are suggested to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44110. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Church of The Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge, Ohio 44023. Luncheon Reception immediately following Mass at Church. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kay at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on MONDAY from 5:00 to 7:00 PM AND AT HOLY ANGELS CHURCH TUESDAY MORNING from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
