CAROLYN MARTIN (nee Flaesgarten) age 74, died peacefully and suddenly July 6, 2020 at her home; beloved wife for 52 years of the late Charles B.; loving mother of Stacy Stack and Charles Martin (fiancé Christine Lah); devoted grandmother of Kevin (wife Lynne) and Denis Picozzi, James and Nick Stack and Stephanie and CJ Martin; dearest daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Flaesgarten; cherished sister of Patricia Geske; devoted aunt of Christina Phillips, Derek Geske, and Corrine Barnett.

Carol was born August 28, 1945 in Euclid, Ohio where she spent the first 30 years of her life before moving to Richmond Heights 45 years ago. She was a graduate of Euclid High School and long-time member of CRYC (Chagrin River Yacht Club). Carol’s passion was for boating and reading. She loved all her time with her grandkids and family. Carol spent many years serving customers and making friends while bartending at The Highlander Tavern in Highland Heights. She will be forever remembered by her family as energetic, happy, strong, life-long friend, and the true rock of the family. She will be deeply missed by many. Yet what gives her family joy is knowing she is together again with her husband Chuck whom she deeply missed since his death in 2017.

Celebration of Life Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carol at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 5-8 PM.
