CAROLYN M. MARKEL (nee Malovrh) age 92, beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Laura Levereaux (deceased) (husband David), Joseph, Ruth Austin (husband Lawrence), William (deceased), James, Carl (wife Karyn) and Frances Markel (husband Dale Levandier); devoted grandmother of Brian, Craig (Lorie), Michelle, and Phillip (Alysia) Austin, David Levereaux (Erin), Halle, Hannah, and Samuel Markel, Marie and Suzanne Levandier, and great-grandmother of Audrey, Natalie, McKenzie, and Philippa; cherished daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Gerbec) Malovrh; dearest sister of the late Sr. Mary Philomene SND, Frances Susa, Sophie Ehrbar, Louise Kristofco, Olga Maloverh, and Rita Summerhill; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Carolyn loved to line dance and taught line dancing for many years. She was a great Slovenian cook and baker who loved to spend time with her family. Carolyn will be remembered as a loving, caring and organized woman. She was a great believer in the power of prayer and enjoyed the holy community at SS. Robert and William Catholic Church.

Box 1988, Cleveland, OH 44106 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH   44110. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 5, 2015 at SS. Robert and William Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carolyn at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
