CAROLYN E. BANN (nee Mosall) age 87, beloved wife for 68 years of Michael; loving mother of Michael E.(wife Cheryl), David (wife Nadine) and Kathleen Augusta (husband Thomas); devoted grandmother of David Bann Jr. (wife Nicole), Jason Bann, Jennifer Bann (husband Marc Loyek), Amanda DeNigris (husband Christopher), Michael Bann (wife Jordan), Megan Landry (husband Matthew), Rachel Tomoletz (husband Austin) and Courtney Bann (partner Patrick Dixon) and great-grandmother of Teagan, Michael, Chance and Vayden; cherished daughter of the late Albert and Amanda (nee Leight) Mosall and step-daughter of the late Hazel Mosall; dearest sister of the late Harry Mosall (wife Helen deceased) and Arnold Mosall; beloved sister-in-law to John J. Bann Jr (wife Joan deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Carolyn was born on August 29, 1936, and passed away on July 25, 2024. She grew up in Euclid and was voted Homecoming Queen at Euclid High School and graduated in 1954. Carolyn and her beloved Michael raised a family of three children, and she devoted her days to them as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed China painting, cooking, baking, needle point and playing the piano. She especially loved listening to polka and big band music. She was a member of the Eastern Star and The Cleveland Club in Naples, Florida. Carolyn will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grand and great grandmother who was fun loving and friendly. Beautiful inside and out, she will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Carolyn to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Shriners Children's Hospital of Dayton (formerly Cincinnati) or to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Celebration of Life Service Tuesday July 30, 2024, at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Entombment following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carolyn at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
