Carole Evans

CAROLE M. EVANS (nee Hart) age 87, beloved wife for 60 years of the late Lawrence; loving mother of Lawrence II (wife Anita) and Forest (wife Shelley); devoted grandmother of John, Carissa Rein, Donovan, Andrew, Madelynn Evans and great-grandmother of Chase, William, Blakely, Leo, Jameson; cherished daughter of the late Amerigo Doriguzzi and Edna Hart; dearest sister of Albert Doriguzzi, Frank Hart (wife Patricia), Noreen Barkley, and the late Susie Wise and George Doray; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Carole was born on August 14, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on April 3, 2020 at Ohman Family Living at Blossom, formally known as Blossom Hill Care Center. She graduated from Shaw High School of East Cleveland in 1951. Although born in Cleveland, Carole was a resident of Newbury for over 50 years. She worked many years as an accounting manager for Chase Bag Company until retiring. As a little girl she enjoyed dance and acrobatics, and as an adult relished unicycling. She was a proud member and coach of St. Helen’s Unicycle Drill Team and traveled the eastern U.S. with them. Carole enjoyed being outside in the sun, whether she was sunbathing or gardening. She was an animal lover and cared deeply for several pets over the years. In her later years, at Blossom Hill, she found joy in painting and making ceramics. However, spending time with her family, especially her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment in life.

The family would like to thank Blossom Hill for the love and care they provided Carole over the years.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 at St. Helen  Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd, Newbury Township, OH 44065, at 10 AM. A burial took place at Munn Cemetery.
