Carol Ward

CAROL WARD (nee Ray) age 73, beloved wife for 55 years of Timothy; loving mother of Nora Yoskovich (husband Barry), Thomas (wife Christine), Timothy (wife Denise) and Michael (wife Suzi); devoted grandmother of Kellie Biller, Amanda Glum, Alex Yoskovich, Roger, Adam, Daniel, Steven, Samantha, Hannah and Leah Ward and great-grandmother of Eric Biller; dearest sister of 8, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt of many.

Carol was born November 22, 1943 in Cleveland and passed away on March 12, 2017 in Chardon.  Carol was a resident of Kirtland for 25 years.  She belonged to the Irish American Club.  Carol’s family was so important to her; she saved every greeting card she ever received and cherished them.  She liked to paint, shop, read and keep up with everyone on Facebook.  Carol got the most enjoyment in life from spending time with her family, whether at Sunday dinners, Ray Girls dinners, martini parties, showers or family reunions.  She especially enjoyed Christmas and the 4^th of July.  Carol loved life; laughter was a constant at her house.  She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and a very positive and upbeat person (unless something was said against the police, then look out!).  Carol was very protective of her family and she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Carol to Seidman Cancer Center, 11100 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 12 NOON at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carol at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 3-8 PM.
