CAROL STORY (nee Campana) age 70, beloved wife of James for nearly 28 years; cherished daughter of the late Chester and Helen (nee Lupo) Campana; beloved sister of Barbara D'Amico (husband Frank) and Michael Campana (wife Josephine) and (wife Lori, deceased); loving mother of Nathan Miller and Andrew Miller (wife Kinsey Geddes); proud grandmother of Isaiah Geddes and Lucius Miller; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Carol was born on January 19, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio and has remained a lifelong resident of Euclid, Ohio. Upon graduation from Euclid High School in 1973, Carol immediately entered the work force. On July 27, 1984, she married the late Johnathan Jay Miller and the two were blessed with two sons. It was not until 12 years later that she would meet James and the two would wed on November 24, 1996. Her strong-will, hard work ethic, and loyalty to others allowed her to work over 25 years for DFAS as a Civilian Pay Technician. Growing up, she was raised Roman Catholic, however as she grew in her later years, she began attending Baptist and Non-Denominational Churches. Carol was an extremely faithful and spiritual person. As a Born-Again Christian the Word of the Lord was most important to her and that is how she was able to memorize so many passages from the Bible. She enjoyed attending church services, singing in the choir, and playing hymns on the organ every Sunday at home. Carol also loved going to the beach, watching movies, whether it was in her own home or at the theatre, going out to dinner with her family, and reading. She would often get lost in a crime book or Stephen King novel all while in the comfort of her at-home library that was lined with every book she'd ever read. On November 3, 2024, this gentle soul was called to eternal rest. Carol was the epitome of a selfless woman who worked hard to ensure that those around her felt loved and taken care of. Her devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, entire family, and friends will be greatly missed.
