Eber, Carol (nee Kist) age 82
Beloved wife of the late John A.. Dearest mother of Eric (wife Beth) and Janet Siebarth (husband Kevin). Devoted and proud grandmother of Karl, Kayla and Joshua Eber, Andrew and Sarah Siebarth and Caitlin and Brian Dall. Dear sister of the late Wilma Eaton “Billi.” Retired educator of 28 years. Lover of children, animals, swimming, reading, playing games, volunteering and traveling. She was a champion for those in need and worked with Salvation Army and her church on projects to bring help and comfort. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, organizational skills, kindness to all and a friend to many.
Carol was born on May 18, 1935 and passed away on February 22, 2018. She was a resident of Breckenridge of Willoughby for 5 years and previously Highland Heights and a parishioner of Garfield Memorial Methodist Church in Pepper Pike. Carol was also a member of the Mayfield Women’s Club. She graduated from Garfield Heights High School in 1953 and Bowling Green State University in 1957 where she was a proud member of Chi Omega. Carol shared her love for children and education as she proudly worked as a teacher and was a local pen pal to 8th grade classes. She was an avid reader and enjoyed coloring in her free time. Carol loved traveling and even went to 48 states and 40 countries. One of Carol’s most memorable trips was to Japan. She was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cavs, and Browns fan. Carol was compassionate, outgoing, fair and non-judgmental. She was generous, loving, and caring. Carol was a philanthropist and very giving. She was devoted to her family and had a very strong faith and was a faithful servant. She will be dearly missed by all.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Garfield Memorial Methodist Church, Lander Circle, Pepper Pike, OH.
