CARMELLA “MILLI” GEIGER (nee Carrubba), aged 95 years, beloved wife of the late Jack J., dearest mother of Linda Grisez (husband Dennis), Gayle Averill (husband David) and Jack M. (wife Debby), loving grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 2, cherished sister of Josephine Carrubba, Ann LoParo (Sandy – deceased) and the following all deceased: Rose Giordano (Mike), Samuel “Sammy” Carrubba (Mae) and Angelo “Junior” Carrubba (Norma), fond aunt and grand-aunt.
Carmella was born on June 20, 1923 in Cleveland and passed away on December 4, 2018 in Richmond Heights. She was a resident of South Euclid for the past 60 years, and a lifelong member of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. She worked as a secretary for Reliance Electric. Carmella enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, and sewing. She always looked forward to dancing a polka with her husband Jack, playing cards with her sisters every day, and spending time with her grandchildren. Carmella will be dearly missed.
Contributions in memory of Milli suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve; St. Paschal Baylon Parish; or to the Cleveland Food Bank. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Milli at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-7 PM.
