CARMELLA M. BARBER (nee Tomaselli), age 88. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of James A. (wife Kathleen) and Dorrine Turk (husband Frank). Devoted grandmother of Jacqueline Marcinko (husband John), Frank Turk (wife Tammy), Joanne Klossner (husband David), Linda Turk, James A., Jr and Kenneth Barber and great-grandmother of 6. Cherished daughter of the late Theodore and Josephine (nee Longo) Tomaselli. Dear sister of the late William Tomaselli (wife Phyllis). The Mass of Christian Burial will be held onTuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carmella at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on MONDAY from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Carmella’s family remembers her as a warm, caring, sensitive and compassionate person who was also a fighter. She loved crocheting and was a Cleveland Indians fan. Carmella was a resident of the Sts. Mary and Joseph Home of the Little Sisters of the Poor for seven years and previously resided in Mayfield Heights. She was a parishoner at St. Clare Catholic Church since 1972. Carmella was also a member of the Sociables of Mayfield Heights.
