Carmela L. Schaffer

CARMELA L. SCHAFFER (nee DiPuccio) age 86, beloved wife of the late Walter A Schaffer Jr.; loving mother of Janice Brickman (husband Robert, deceased), Kathleen Beccia (husband Thomas, deceased), and Michael Schaffer (wife Mary); devoted grandmother of Michael Brickman, Joseph Varanese, James Brickman, and  David Brickman; cherished daughter of the late Rocco  and Pauline (nee Sbrocco) DiPuccio; dearest sister of Rocco DiPuccio (wife Virginia); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

She was an avid jazzerciser, bowler, and quilter.

Contributions may be made in memory of Carmela to The Alzheimer’s Association.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carmela at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 4-8 PM.

Prayers of Christian Burial will follow at 8 PM.

Private inurnment at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
