Carl J. Stevens

CARL J. STEVENS age 64, loving son of the late Charles and Mary (nee Antolich); cherished brother of Carol Sidley (husband James, deceased) and Nancy Yoak; dearest uncle of Mike Sidley (wife Joy), Pam Mundhenk, Patrick Sidley (wife Leanne), Christopher Stevens and the late Debbie Petersen (husband John) and great-uncle of many; dear friend of those at the Sherman House.

Carl was born on August 18, 1955 and passed away peacefully on October 28, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Montville and happily lived at the Sherman House with his buddies. Carl played basketball for Metzenbaum and was a proud member on the Special Olympics team. He loved watching Cleveland sports and listening to all types of music. Carl will be remembered most as a loving, happy man who truly enjoyed life. He will be forever missed.

Celebration of Life Service ­­SATURDAY, November 9, 2019 at 12 NOON at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Montville Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carl at THE DeJOHN Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St.  (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) 10-12 NOON.
