Carl A. Metzger

CARL A. METZGER age 93, beloved husband of the late Louise “Cindy” (nee Mays); loving father of Carl Jr.(wife Marla) and the late Charlene; devoted grandfather of Bryan and Stephanie Wallace (husband Colton); cherished son of the late William and Catherine (nee Neeld); dearest brother of Kathy May-Dahl, John and the late William Jr., Jean Metz and Thomas (wife Carol); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Navy Korean Conflict Veteran.

Carl was born on June 21, 1929 and passed away January 9, 2023. He lived in Richfield, Ohio for over 40 years. Carl was a member of the Lakeshore Doberman Club and was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an elevator constructor and worked for Otis and Ross Elevator. Carl was a hard-working man and enjoyed gardening, breeding and showing Dobermans and hosting his annual Clam Bake. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Celebration of Life Service Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 10 AM at The Funeral Home. Burial following with Military Honors at Fairview Cemetery, Richfield, OH. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Carl at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). MONDAY 4-7 PM.
